Punk, from mid-1970 (hence a lot of aesthetics in the number 77 is used as a symbol of punk), was a contrasting movement of rebellion and discontent. Over time, the punk became a socio-political movement for the majority of those who identify themselves as punks
Yeah but Punk IS dead... Punk, in the original sense of the word, doesn't exist anymore. We we have now is just a comercial version that everybody can consume.
