a being from another world, changing its shape and features, can read minds and fear, able to project the image you want to capture who you are, ready to eat living creatures (preferably children, whose fears are very easy to develop) and sleep for nearly three decades until it returns to wake to feed and fed, thereby fulfilling an endless cycle.
This is probably one of the best books by Mr. King. Whomever says otherwise is beacuse they only saw the movie and didn't read the book. The movie is good, but it covers less than half of the story from the book.
