Automobili Lamborghini Holding SpA commonly known as Lamborghini, is an Italian manufacturer of sports cars founded in 1963 by the tractor manufacturer Ferruccio Lamborghini (1916-1993). Apparently, Lamborghini had amassed a large fortune. Passionate about sports, it is installed in a tiny village called Sant'Agata Bolognese in Bologna, a few miles from Maranello to rival its neighbor, Enzo Ferrari, after a quarrel with the quality of their cars. The original company was called Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini SpA, which in turn stemmed from the Trattoria Lamborghini SpA .

After the Second World War, Ferruccio Lamborghini, who had served in a detachment of transport for the Italian army, he began to buy surplus military vehicles to turn them into agricultural machinery. He was a fan of Enzo Ferrari for the way he kept his business, but always had a problem: Ferruccio always had mechanical problems with their Ferraris. Motivation in particular, and the straw that broke the glass, was the clutch of his Ferrari 250 GTB. After numerous revisions workshop, still failed. Ferruccio decided to disarm and verify the same, and to discover that many pieces had occupied in their tractors to clear with a hefty price to be in a sports car, enraged. Tired of having to endure these inconveniences, initiated a conversation with the Enzo Ferrari which passed into history.
